Host Geoff Keighley for Spike VGX 2013 has confirmed that Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall will be present at next month's event. The PC and Xbox shooter will join "big surprises and news" from the studio.

Microsoft's Phil Spencer has already hinted that Remedy's Quantum Break might appear at VGX, and Square Enix seems to have something Tomb Raider related for fans.

Bethesda is rumoured to be prepping the next Fallout for an announcement too. The Spike VGX events have become an important milestone for game unveilings.

"Excited to announce that Titanfall is coming to VGX. Big surprises and news from @respawn on December 7. Don't miss it," tweeted Geoff Keighley. Previously Spike VGX was known as the Spike TV VGAs. Big things are expected from Respawn's Titanfall, which brings hulking Titan mechs onto the battlefield and abandons corridors for verticality.

Titanfall releases on PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One March 11th, 2014 in the US, 13th in EU, 14th in the UK.
