For a poultry pittance you can now enjoy some espionage aboard the noir adventure The Last Express, from Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner who released this unique game back in 1993.

The Gold Edition comes packed with today's achievements, cloud-saving and unlockables, as well as game UI improvements. It's a game that's time-sensitive.

Basically while you sit and ponder your next move, characters and events are unfolding around you so you'd best have your sharpest wits about you.

"Described as one of the best adventure games of all time, The Last Express is an intrigue-filled adventure set aboard the luxurious Orient Express. In July 1914, on the eve of World War I, as the train departs on its final journey from Paris to Constantinople, the player steps into the shoes of Robert Cath, an American doctor with a mysterious past."

"A fugitive from French police, Cath boards the train in answer to an urgent telegram from his best friend and plunges into a maelstrom of conspiracy, romance and murder," blurbs the Steam store page.

The Last Express: Gold Edition is now available with 25% off at 3.74. It's also on GOG.com.
