This will be a good year, rpg lovers we deserved something like this

Yep, out of all of those offerings there should be some winners.

DAI looks good visually but the demo I saw looked to force you into a particular role (inquisitor) and that would not seem to be a good way to approach an open world kind of feel. We'll see. The game looked way to consolified for my tastes too but the video on the presentation is pretty crappy.

I'm fearing that WL2 combat might seem a bit bland but we'll see.

Pillars may be my most anticipated RPG of the year simply based on the promise of a return of BG/IWD style...but there really hasn't been much info OR media put out for this game (which sadly seems to often be the case with the more "high profile" KS devs, the true indies often seem to be way better about communicating) so who knows how this one will turn out.

It is weird to me how the more corporate style devs that turn to KS end up kind of keeping info about their games far more quiet. For ex, I bet you Brian Fargo has done more interviews about kickstarter and funding his game than interviews on the game itself (that had any substance and weren't rehashing the same minimal bits repeatedly).

No info or media for Pillars of Eternity or Wasteland 2? There's been tons, but it's all for backers really. Not exclusively though I think: That's one sweet screenshot they've taken in the most recent post.

And Wasteland 2's got half the game out, you can't say that's keeping quiet! :)
