Blizzard's Hearthstone is now finally in the open beta phase of its life, at least if you live in North America. That means anyone can now play the card battling strategy for free via the official website.
For those who live elsewhere the open beta shall commence "within the next few days," promises Blizzard. Hearthstone had its last major update last week.
From here on out Blizzard only intend to make any drastic re-balancing should the need be absolutely required, otherwise things are pretty much set in stone.
"Open Beta is still not a final release, and we will be closely monitoring many aspects of the game to ensure a positive play experience for everyone. Please be aware that if smoke starts curling out of our servers due to unexpectedly high demand for Hearthstone, we may have to temporarily disable Open Beta account activations until we’re ready to take on more players," warned the studio.
