MMO The Elder Scrolls Online will have quite a voice cast for itself reveals a new trailer from developer ZeniMax Online. This "extraordinary group of actors" includes John Cleese and Kate Beckinsale.

Cleese plays the "comic relief" in the game, while Kate Beckinsale voices Queen Ayrenn who leads the Aldmeri Dominion. Who else? Bill Nighy, Malcolm McDowell...

They're getting quite the cast together for The Elder Scrolls Online. Nighy plays High King Emeric who's luck and perseverance won him his throne.

"This extraordinary group of actors helps bring the distinctive characters in The Elder Scrolls Online to life," said Matt Firor, game director of The Elder Scrolls Online. "In The Elder Scrolls tradition, we sought world class talent to add a deep and enriching component to the immersive world the series offers players."

The Elder Scrolls Online releases on PC and mac April 4th, and on Xbox One and PS4 in June.

Spending a lot of money doesn't make a bad idea for a crappy game any better.

THIS^
I really don`t see how this will make the people that didn`t care about the game suddenly be interested.

So the game will have good - or at least famous voices?
Still doesn't entice me one bit I'm afraid.

She was enticing in the movie Laurel Canyon. Since then Kate is another matter entirely.

I still don't like the fact that the next ES game is an MMO. I pray that they will start the production of TES VI after this...

Well, it means that the voice acting won't be shit. There's prolly a few ppl who'd be a little more excited by that, or by the specific stars involved. It's possible that a few of those tip into extra sales, or turn existing sales into earlier sales.
