A new video has been released for South Park: The Stick of Truth that goes behind-the-scenes on the upcoming RPG, and it looks at developer Obsidian as well as Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
Their goal, ultimately, is to achieve that "authentic crapiness" of South Park so people walking in can mistake the game for a new episode. Currently it's due for release March 4th.
Matt, Trey and their studio are 'particular' about how they want certain things to go, says Obsidian, which they know is crucial for The Stick of Truth to win fans over.
They're intimately involved in the game's development which has been going on four years now. It was due for release last summer but was pushed back and survived the closure of THQ to find a new home at Ubisoft. "We always wanted the game to feel like you're actually in an episode of South Park. Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we're excited to say it's taken way longer than we thought it would," they said.
South Park: The Stick of Truth releases on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 March 4th in the US, 7th in EU.
