Out of the Park Developments has announced a new strategy simulation. Joining Out of the Park Baseball and Franchise Hockey Manager is Beyond the Sideline Football, which will do for American football what the other two titles did for baseball and hockey.
The game will feature the 32 real-life American football teams, as the game sims games with a 2D game engine. Players can call plays and see them play out on the field. Outside of games, players will set depth charts and strategies, as well as shepherd their team over the years, drafting players from all real-life division I colleges and signing free agents.
Another staple of the developer's sports titles are in-depth stats an analysis, as the game will feature over 50 stats, along with complete histories that include stats, transactions, injuries, and contracts, cumulated for all players who have participated in a training camp during the past decade. "Each player features a Health Scan that lets you quickly assess their current situation by showing you which areas of their body are hurt, which areas are okay, and which ones are worn," adds the press release.
As with all OOTP games, it will feature extensive customization options, from league and team editing to player tweaking. The game will also feature online league support as well.
Beyond the Sideline Football will be released sometime in 2015 for PC.
