Respawn Entertainment boss Vince Zampella was on Twitter last night answering questions from fans and revealed the minimum system requirements for their upcoming mech shooter Titanfall.

Zampella also confirmed that Titanfall will require EA’s Origin service on the PC, after a fan claimed they would dodge the release on PC if that service was required.

"yes it does, we'll miss you :(" said Zampella. "I'll also ask that you give origin a try for the beta, costs you nothing."

Here's the minimum system requirements for Titanfall:

* 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1
* AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
* 4GB RAM
* 512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT

Titanfall launches on 14th March, 2014 on PC.

idc - it's going to be too expensive for the foreseeable future, after which I'll no longer care. I might get it one day if it comes up really cheap and someone lets me know.

Origin = I don't buy or play this game PERIOD. Sorry. Uplay is just as bad.

While Origin is only run when BF4 is, I still don't like it much but it is getting slightly better and less inconvenient. UPlay however is a big sacred NO still.

My concern with Titanfall is that is is yet another incomplete mess just like BF4 was at release (and to some degree still is) and I won't pre-order anything for sure for awhile again.
