Shadowrun: Dragonfall now available on PC, Mac and Linux

Shadowrun Returns today receives its first full-length campaign expansion with Shadowrun: Dragonfall from developer Harebrained Schemes. A 12+ hour campaign set in the city of Berlin awaits with new features.

The greatest addition is perhaps the new save/load system so we needn't rely on checkpoints any more. The studio has listened to all feedback when designing Dragonfall.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall releases for PC, Mac and Linux on Steam and GOG.com for $14.99, and to mark this occasion the original is also for a limited time at $14.99.

$15 for a DLC for a kickstarted/crowdfunded game seems a bit steep to me. Kind of like how some of the stretch goals for Star Citizen seemed to stretch how much development costs (1m to add a planet to the game?).

Sometimes I wonder if some of these more savvy veteran devs are taking advantage of the crowd funding thing a bit. I couldn't really find any solid data on this - and that lack of data is kind of a bummer - but you could theorize that having someone else fund your game with money you never pay back and selling plenty of copies at full cost (minus steam's cut) could be fairly profitable.
