With E3 looming over us like an ominous storm, suspicions and paranoia are high. To fuel the distrust Take-Two renewed their trademark for Rockstar's Agent just last week.
Are they just holding onto it or will the Cold War-era espionage title finally emerge? Early this year Take-Two also snagged 'Hangar 13', which might be GTAV related.
Rockstar is said to be working on a next-gen title for release but there's little information as to what that could be exactly. Rockstar enjoys secrecy.
Agent has been long in the making and was originally unveiled by Sony at a past E3 only for the curious spy thriller to retreat back into the development shadows, with no new sighting except for an occasional trademark refresh from Take-Two. Is last week's red tape just another legal move?
Hangar 13 meanwhile is rumoured to perhaps be some Grand Theft Auto V DLC in the works, possibly related to the game's alien references which feature here and there. Rockstar Games ihas said in the past they would prefer to skip E3 events for more tailored venues to showcase their titles. We'll see if this has changed soon enough.
E3 2014 is scheduled June 10-12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
