The release date for turn-based role-playing game Divinity: Original Sin has been pushed back by developer Larian Studios. It will now launch on June 30, ten days later than initially planned.

That extra time will be used for rigorous bug-squashing, adding some new voice-overs and other general tidying up.

"While Divinity: Original Sin has been going through rigorous testing thanks to a huge community playing on Steam Early Access,"
writes the developer in a press release sent today, "there are still a few more finishing touches required before launch. The team wants to deliver the best possible game at release, rather than a game they're not 100% happy with, and will use the extra time to add voice-overs for a range of characters, as well as a number of bug fixes to make for a well-polished experience."

If you own Original Sin via Steam Early Access you'll still be able to play it up to the new release date. In the meantime, check out our preview. Spoilers: we liked it.
