Check out nearly ten minutes of in-game Dragon Age: Inquisition footage

Dragon Age: Inquisition was shown live on Twitch recently, presented by BioWare executive producer Mark Darrah and creative director Mike Laidlaw.

Eurogamer has captured the entire gameplay stream, and you can view it here. Those open environments sure look lovely.

Aside from our first chance to glimpse a female Qunari, Laidlaw revealed a couple of interesting bits of information. Firstly, the game will apparently take around 50 hours to complete. There are multiple different mounts including "lizardy creatures", and enemies won't scale to your level. You'll need to level up and improve your resources before you take on those tougher areas.

What do you think, judging by what you've seen of Inquisition so far?

I am not remotely interested in the console version -_-

Damn power wheel thing is a thorn in my eye. That better not be a thing in the PC version.

The following line at 6:15 worries me quite a bit:
"...because the game is auto balancing to you...".

This mechanic basically ruined Oblivion as far as I'm concerned and seeing something similar again is unfortunate.

Hmm. At 4:02 they say that enemies don't scale, so I think he might be saying "isn't auto-balancing" rather than "is". I'm sure we'll find out the truth at some point soon.

Oh you might be right, it seems he actually says "isn't auto balancing".
Mea culpa.
