|GTA generates $710 million in revenue, almost half T2's yearly total|

The Grand Theft Auto franchise has almost made up half of publisher Take-Two's total revenue for this fiscal year they reveal.
During the conference call Take-Two Chairman Strauss Zelnick wasn't shy to say the "phenomenal success" of GTA IV drove the results for fiscal 2008. GTA equals major bling.
GTA took $710 million compared to the entire pot total of $1,537.5 million this fiscal.
"Our record fiscal 2008 results were driven by the phenomenal success of GTA 4 from Rockstar Games. Other top titles for us this year were Midnight Club Los Angeles, NBA 2K9, Carnival Games, Grand Theft Auto catalog titles, and Sid Meierâ€™s Civilization Revolution," announced Zelnick.
