Matt Keller played Alien vs Predator: Requiem for the PSP. The original movie marketing spin-off proved to be a pretty popular game (for the PC), with a relatively solid community to this day. Created by the same development company, what does the author think about how this game turned out? Read the review and see.

Conclusion (3.8):
Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is a blatant rush job Ė Rebellion even admitted that they spent only six months on the gameís development. We know from Rebellionís efforts with the first Aliens vs. Predator game on the PC that they are a capable studio, so why do they think that they can release such a bland and limited game onto a console where, letís face it, not even the best games are selling big numbers. Itís a poor effort thatís best left festering in the bargain bins.

Had to rush it out in time for the lead-up for the DVD release of the movie is my best guess. That an alarming increase in Developer's losing sight of their biggest supporter's needs...the buyers/ players. 6 months isn't a development cycle, and shows the interest level by the Devs in the project, ie.: nil. Better not to have released it at all. Tho Rebellion were obviosly under contract and decided to express their annoyance by releasing this title in this state, or they just did a very bad job.

I recently went to see Alien vs Predator: Requiem at the cinema and it was actually pretty good. That's from my opinion anyway :p
