Rock Revolution is Konami's response to Guitar Hero and Rock Band, and is set to arrive this March in Europe on Xbox 360, PS3 and DS.
The game has already launched in the US and hasn't received much fanfare, in fact many complain it offers most of everything you could want three years too late; metascore of 39. "Release your inner rockstar or allow your friends the privilege of picking up an axe or pounding the skins with you to 40 mind bending rock and roll tracks! Unleash your creative juices in the Jam Mode where you can create your own music in a state of the art multi-track studio! This is the musical revolution the world has been waiting for!" goes the official blurb. Metacritic consensus isn't so hot, with the game achieving a standing of "generally negative reviews". That's what happens when you're tardy to the party Konami. The game is said to function with existing guitar and drum peripherals from the big boy rockers. Rock Revolution was developed by indie studio Zoƫ Mode. Source: Eurogamer | |
