Sega announced today that they will be producing a multi-format tie-in to co-inside with the release of the second Iron Man movie.

The project has already started at Sega Studios San Francisco (previously known as Secret Level), who also worked on the original critically slated game that was inspired by the first film.

Whilst little is currently known about gameplay details, Sega has confirmed that, “players can expect an entirely new and enhanced gameplay experience."

Iron Man 2 is expected in cinemas during 2010, so expect the game to hitch a release alongside this anticipated sequel sometime near then.

By "enhanced" I trust they do mean "playable". Despite having all the tools from the movie's CGI, they still managed to wreck the game. Can't see this being any different.

I imagine some 12 year olds will enjoy this for about 15 minutes.
