Capcom patch in online co-op for Resi Evil 5's Mercenaries mode

Previously Mercenaries co-op play was only possible offline through system link for the Xbox 360 but now gamers can play it over Xbox Live too.

There's no word if a patch has been submitted for the PS3 version yet. The high scoring Mercenaries mode is unlocked once the Resident Evil 5 campaign is completed.

"A title update is already available for RE5 which adds online co-op play for Mercenaries Mode on Xbox 360," reports IGN.

This update has arrived before the game has officially released, which is this week on March 13th for Xbox 360 and PS3. Planning on some online co-op high-score attack action? Capcom hopes you are.

So you can do it over the internet. That is interesting now... Who wants to bash skulls and kick zombie ass with me (when I get the game)? :D

Yeah. They obviously had no time and space to put it on the Blu-Ray. Damn companies. :@

I hate that, so lazy. That has got to be the saddest thing I have seen yet. But other than that the game will be cool i recommend everyone buy it who likes to shoot up some zombie ass.

They make a final product, make 100 000 copies when they realize they have forgotten one of the main aspects of the game. That's something I call careless. :|
Same thing happened to GTA4 on PC, STALKER Clear Sky, and Hellgate London...

Maybe not. Maybe it's just a marketing trick... To make people want to register on the Live service. :S

but for both the 360 and the ps3?!makes you think that with so much space on blue ray they could have included it in the disc of it was on time!?

Maybe the newly produced PS3 games will have the patch pre-installed. Sounds logical. :)
