The Scottish based developer is doing well, so well in fact they've hired two new staffers as customer service director and game operations manager.

Patrick Bays is responsible for APB's game operations and has MMOG experience from Turbine's Lord of the Rings Online, he knows "six or eight hours downtime" weekly is bad.

Will Leverett will be bossman of trouble tickets and annoying machine automated service lines. Patrick Bays is leading the new operations team in Boulder, Colo.

"As a gamer myself, I don't find six or eight hours downtime every week acceptable, so our system will allow our players to enjoy our games round the clock," said Bays.

We hope your right. APB is still without a date but Realtime Worlds has previously said they expect it sometime this year.
