The Singstar series of games has proven quite popular, with a total of twelve different titles produced to-date and translated into several different languages. Rob Rymond, our SingStar aficionado, played the Rock Ballads instalment and shares his thoughts on this Karaoke experience.

Conclusion (7.0):
In conclusion SingStar Rock Ballads is possibly one of the best SingStar instalments to date with a great variety of music which people of all eras will recognize. It may not be rock at its finest but it certainly is music to your ears.

And so the next generation will only be able to play guitars with buttons and sing songs in front of a TV. Wonder what ever happened to talent?

Don't knock the Singstar series, it's a good lot of fun, although if you have the PS3 version could get very expensive. However you can't beat a good original game!
