Xbox 360 sales increase by 43% in UK

GfK ChartTrack has informed MCV that the Xbox 360 sales have increased week-on-week by 43 per cent in the UK. This sale increase is a combination of the UK's bank holiday weekend and a £30 price cut for the Xbox 360 Elite.

PlayStation 3 sales have dropped by 20 per cent since the announcement of the new PS3 Slim, but a boost in sales is expected next week when figures from the PS3 Slims first week are in.

No wonder, you actually saw something of that price cut, our price cut in Sweden was cut out due to "difficult logistics" so things cost more or less the same, a few £ here or there that won't make up for the gas it slurps to get you there....
