The first silver screen adventure of Silent Hill managed to rake in $47 million domestically in the United States, and now a second Silent Hill has been green light by Davis Films.

The original movie followed a woman searching for help for her daughter in desolate town, and then bad supernatural things happened. It will start after Resident Evil 4 next year.

Roger Avary and Samuel Hadida from Davis Films, screenwriter and producer respectively, will begin shooting the piece "next year after "Resident Evil 4," which it's now prepping," says the Hollywood Reporter. Did you watch the first movie, videogamer?

Has Davis Films managed to deliver justice for Konami's horror thriller franchise?

This by far my favorite game-based movie. Looking forward to the second film. I hope they don't screw it up!
