Developer Zen Studios has announced their latest PSN title to be 'Planet Minigolf', where players can swing their clubs in pursuit of realistic mini golf, thanks to pinball expertise.

Their "battle-tested ball-physics" from their ZEN Pinball series has helped create Planet Minigolf. The PSN title has up to "144 unique holes" packed with various "unusual hazards".

"We’ve taken the same battle-tested ball-physics engine that was used to develop the ZEN Pinball franchise and applied it to Planet Minigolf resulting in the most true-to-life miniature golf experience available on PlayStation Network," said Zen's Zsolt Kigyossy.

It's primarily a singleplayer game but has a "full suite of multiplayer options" like hotseats and "regular weekly tournaments" with competitions worldwide planned.

"Players can choose from six customizable characters and complete up to 144 unique holes packed with a variety of unusual hazards and interactive objects, all while trying to navigate the detailed terrain and sink that tricky hole-in-one," goes the Planet Minigolf blurb.

Zen don't mention a release date or what price they planned to stick Planet Minigolf with. Do you consider yourself a master of miniature golf, videogamer?
