Adventure creator Charles Cecil, and fellow genre fan Dave Gibbons, are teaming up again as they work on "a new adventure game" together. They've many "ideas for premises".
In the past this pairing has given us 'Beneath a Steel Sky' and recently it has been reworked for the iPhone, a platform that Cecil advises "really brave" wannabe developers to go for. "It's such a wet thing to say, but I'm not allowed to talk about it," said Cecil, during a Q&A at the Eurogamer Expo in Leeds, reports Eurogamer. "All I can say is, I am working with Dave Gibbons and we're working on a new adventure game. We have a number of ideas for premises and we honestly haven't decided which road we're going to go down. But I love writing and playing adventure games and that is what I'm going to stick to," continued the adventure game legend. If you're a budding gamer turned wannabe developer, Cecil has this advice: "If you're really brave and really have confidence in your idea, borrow some money and put it out on iPhone because there are no constraints," he said.
