Developer Gearbox Software have updated the Xbox 360 version of Borderlands with bug fixes, with the PS3 and PC editions to follow suit soon enough the studio affirms to users.

I'm sure Xbox 360 gamers are glad to hear the "introductory quests" should always progress as intended now, as will fellow platforms. They're "continuing work on support updates".

"Many issues have been addressed here, but we are continuing work on support updates for all platforms, and will deploy fixes for every version as soon as possible and continue to support all platforms," informed Gearbox. Other issues they want reported to them.

Borderlands has had a bit of a rough start with a fix yet to be announced for players losing all their character's skills when joining online games, although fortunately this is a rare bug. See below for what fixes the Xbox 360 title update brings with it, and what PS3 and PC can expect.

Are you traversing Borderlands' Pandora for the elusive vault, videogamer?

- Fixed a bug which caused players and other things in the world to appear incorrectly on clients in networked games
- fixed a bug in which players gibbed in arena combat disappeared
- fixed a bug which caused the dollars counter to spin continuously
- fixed a bug that caused the digger elevator to be unusable after completing the Find Tannis mission
- Weapon mapping to the D-pad should no longer reverse left and right
various localization and other text and tooltip corrections
- The introductory quests with CL4P-TP should now always progress properly all the time
- Lilith's Phase Strike ability now works as intended
- Load times have been improved

Focing on the XB360 shows just where Gearbox's heart lies. Let bthat be a warning for any future Gearbox releases for PC and PS3 owners.

Well, not only the priority is something a PC gamer should be wary of, the interface is not very PC intuitive. Most commands have been written to only accept keyboard input. That's right, you can't make all the menu commands by just the mouse - and that is downright just crappy programming and straight out silly. The console legacy is evident in the PC game, but the game is OK, too bad that they didn't do more for the PC players because then the game could have been one of the great ones.
