Infinity pull F.A.G.S. trailer from net, its "core gag is great" though

An intended humorous trailer for Modern Warfare 2 has backfired a little for developer Infinity Ward, and so they've done their best to wipe it out. It's all about F.A.G.S. you see.

That's the "Fight Against Grenade Spam." Bowling admits the end is "a bit too far" from the jokes origin and "appreciates" the raised issues.

"I agree. I think the core gag is great, the end is a bit too far from the intent of the joke & can appreciate the concerns. Pulled," twittered Infinity's Robert Bowling.

It's managed to cause quite a stir and is not something Infinity likely wanted to be happening in this way given the heat they've already taken from the PC gamer community for no dedicated server support, and the leaked clips showing players killing civvies.

Have you seen the now pulled trailer? Was it funny or going just a little too far?

Knowing IW's blunders with trailers, it probably went too far. Who is in charge of their PR department? Sack him/her.
