The clip shows some quick action. Far Cry 2 boasts an open world environment, 50-km wide in a failed African state stricken with conflict. It all starts with an objective to remove an arms dealer peddling weapons to both sides.

The clip also confirms the game will see an autumn release date from Ubisoft.

Crytek was the creator and developer of island-shooter Far Cry but this sequel is not being handled by the studio, instead the project falls to Ubisoft Montreal. Crysis is no doubt taking much if not all of Crytek's time and resources as their latest prodigy has already achieved global renown.
