| NCSoft launches 'Discover' websites for Guild Wars and Lineage II | |

In a bid to increase both their player base and the allure of the online role-playing game, NCSoft have put live discoverguildwars.com and discoverlineage2.com.
They hope that the sites will entice newcomers to MMORPGs to sample their "most cherished and endearing" onliners. Guild Wars and Lineage II are breeds apart from one another, one focusing more on the traditional RPG while the other favours 'instance' play where gamers only meet in towns. Lineage II has a monthly subscription while Guild Wars is completely free past the initial purchase. Checked out the Guuild Wars siye and agter a rificulously long loading time I was presented with an almost identical site the GW home webpage. Ob viously its' just a prettied-up way of offering a demo. |
