PlayStation Network "an integrated part" of Move's future on PS3

Sony Computer Entertainment's Scott Rhodes has said how PSN plays a crucial role in the development of PlayStation Move for the PS3.

It's a "great distribution" outlet so "why not distribute" PlayStation Move content through it? It's great for those smaller ideas, not fit for Blu-ray.

"I think the PlayStation Network is an integrated part of what we do. It's a great distribution channel for us," Sony Worldwide Studios VP Rhodes told Joystiq.

"It's a great way for if we happen to have a smaller idea that doesn't make sense to put on a Blu-ray. Why not? Why not distribute it through the PSN? Absolutely." It all makes sense, especially when Sony has some quirky first-party and third-party developers.

Sony's Michael Denny said that GDC was the right time for PlayStation Move.
