Whispers spoke of a possible September release for the insomniac protagonist, Mr Alan Wake. The rumblings were dispelled and the community cast into chaos as they were left wonder if it'll ever happen.

An official was happy to post on the Alan Wake forums that this media 'blackout' won't "continue for too much longer."

Alan Wake has met with a little controversy over its release on the PC; it's a Windows Vista exclusive. Many gamers are still wary to trust Microsoft's latest OS prodigy with numerous problems being found and near unexplainable mishaps, it does enable DirectX10 though.

“Patience. The media ‘blackout’ won’t continue for too much longer,” says Morry, Alan Wake Super Moderator.

Alan Wake will be released on the Xbox360, PS3 and the PC (Vista) in the mysterious and uncertain future.

avatar Whew! For awhile there I thought it was ONLY for Vista! I have Vista but I don't have the graphics card to play it. Good thing I got a 360 and PS3. :) Also, I thought they canceled this game. Well, like I always say, better late than never, eh?
