Rein: Unreal Tournament 3 "coming along really nicely" on Xbox360

Mark Rein the vice-president at Epic Games has announced it'll be playable at this month’s Midway's Las Vegas Gamers Day. Epic will square off against the press to show just how "nicely" it's doing.

UT3 has already been released on the PS3 and the PC, while there's still no concrete release date for the Xbox360 version.

"We don't have a particular release date yet but we're going to be playing it with some members of the press in two weeks at Midway's next Gamers Day in Las Vegas," posted Reid on the official UT3 forums.

"Should be fun. The game is coming along really nicely."

Rest easy, Xbox LIVE gamers shall soon rejoice in the blood of UT challengers.

avatar Interesting to see the "Holy" 360 have to wait for a title. Too bad, so sad. Haven't forgiven IW for releasing the CoD4 pack for 360-only yet...grrrrrr.

avatar What?! I thought this game was out on 360 before it hit the PS3! Huh, maybe it was a good choice after all when I got it for PS3. Or I'd still be waitng.

avatar Neither can give the Graphics power of the PC though. Even Assassin's Creed when played on PC shows up the Clipping required for the XBox. Just don't like the "plastic" look the Unreal 3 Engine gives, in conjunction with DirectX 9.0c.

avatar Well I don't know about that Zerk. You should know that it sucks if a game is only on one system. If you had a console, you could play something like The Darkness. You want it to stay a console exclusive? I'll bet no. And if your gonna "screw" ...
