2K Marin look for PS3 designer to join the 'BioShock 2' developer

It seems that the Xbox360 and PC can't contain the thirst of the project, but there hasn't been any confirmation it'll see Sony's console.

Of course there's plenty of writing on the wall that team Marin will be pursuing it, it's a post for a senior designer and "Playstation3 experience is required."

What more wall-writing do you need?

"Experience working with recent generation game console technology (Xbox, Xbox360, PlayStation2 or PlayStation3) and Playstation3 experience is required," read the job listing.

It should be noted that nothing specifically ties the post to the BioShock 2 project but given the value of the game it's unlikely they're working on another project parallel to the shooter.

Bioshock 2 for PC will rock. But PS3 seems quite hard to adapt to (as was PS1 originally). Even Crytek has taken a lot of time developing a version of the Cry2 ENGINE for the PS3 (but that's in completion stage, and will probably be limited to Cry1 ENGINE to start with for "Cysis").

Oh man yeah. Theres a few developers out there complaining about PS3. Sounds like making games for the system is a real pain. As long as BioShock 2 comes out on 360, I'll be happy.
