Pseudo Interactive was pronounced shutdown last week, the developer had worked on Full Auto. What was kept quiet however was their Carmageddon project which would have brought the cult classic to the next-gen console scene.

SCi's corporate restructuring, which lead to14 project kill offs and a 25% workforce reduction was the cause of Pseudo's downfall.

"The Racing Game for the Chemically Imbalanced." This vehicular-slaughter-athon first graced the videogames market back in 1997 and was developed by Stainless Games for the PC and MAC. The aim of the game was simple, destroy your opponents and should you strike pedestrians along the way - it's all good man.

Let's hope there's another knight in shining armour out there that will take up the mantle for Carmageddon.

Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now (released in November '98)
