Blizzard has apparently begun alpha testing the major add-on for their online MMO, this will be the second expansion pack to World of Warcraft.
It adds a new land, new gear, new quests, and most importantly for WoW fans it will let adventures eventually tackle the Lich King himself, the leader of the Scourge. There are some assumptions that it will be ready by this November but Blizzard has responded with the fact that nothing has been announced on the matter. Online retailers are behind the rumour, which is always a mixed blessing. The major add-on also raises the level cap to 80, up from 70, a new profession, better character customisation, new non-instanced battleground, destructible buildings and siege weaponry for PVP and a new 'Death Knight' class - plus more. Of course Blizzard denies being a part of this rumour, but retailers are alweays under strict instructions from Publishers about when and what news to release about their products. C'mon Blizzard, who are you kidding? |

Bit like Politicians leaking news to the Press, then quoting those Press statements as "proof" supporting the government of the existence of something ("Aluminum pipes in Iraq" anybody?). |
