Treyarch is 100 percent Call of Duty, "has been for a long time now"

Studio boss Mark Lamia of Treyarch remarks how they're fully Call of Duty, "long before" those Infinity Ward troubles flared up. It's all they do now.

This has led to a "dedicated multiplayer team" being formed at Treyarch, to help shape the online experience across all their Call of Duty releases.

"Treyarch is a 100 per cent Call of Duty studio and it has been for a long time now," Lamia told CVG, "long before any" of that Infinity ruckus happened.

"We focused all of our efforts on creating the best Call of Duty game we possibly can and what that meant is not working on anything else. We are a multiple team studio and focusing on Call of Duty and Call of Duty gameplay meant focusing all of our teams on that."

Call of Duty: Black Ops releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC November 9th.

Black Ops is looking very promising. Especially the fact that the PC version will have dedicated servers. Though I doubt it will trump Bad Company 2 multiplayer, it may still be worth playing... at least for the campaign, if nothing else.

Having played "Battlefield: Bad Company 2", and quite enjoying it, I am still enjoying MW2 much more. There is just no beating a CoD game, and the November releases are "must-buys" for me. This looks to be another excellent CoD game, and Treyarch are just getting better and better with each title they release.
Dedicated Servers - yeehaaa!

You enjoy MW2 multiplayer more than BC2 multiplayer? Are you crazy lol.

I prefer BC2 because its far more tactical, requires more strategy and team work, and thus makes it a harder game. That, and the fact that the environments can be destroyed makes every round different in some way. For me, nothing comes close to the quality of BC2 for multiplayer yet. Perhaps Black Ops will change that though, we'll see! :)

Yes, BC2 can be more tactical, but it can also be boring for long periods, until you're killed by an unseen enemy. You obviosly haven't seen the video of the guy who got a 65-2 KDR in a MW2 match, Jake. Also when Parties are involved, they work tactically and strategically on each map to defeat all.
The games are different and I enjoy both, but for me MW2 just has that touch more polish.
