Great news for Agents with itchy trigger fingers because Crackdown 2 is now only delayed by the street date alone, the game itself has completed.

It's off to the disc farms, where free-range optical media frolics grazing on fertile data fields. Recently Ruffian expressed their worry about staff health.

"#Crackdown2 has passed cert, thanks for the fantastic work by all. Load up those trucks, Agents. We're heading out," twittered developer Ruffian, reports CVG.

Crackdown 2's producer James Cope explained how the development of the sequel "hasn't gone entirely smoothly" as they struggled to both make a "worthy successor" to Realtime Worlds' Crackdown and manage a brand new studio.

"That does lead into the pressure for us to deliver something that is a worthy successor and it is at the forefront of our minds a lot of the time," he said. "I think we've done the right things in order to satisfy that hunger. I think the fans will be happy with the stuff we've done." Crackdown 2 releases exclusively on Xbox 360 July 9th.
