The publisher has given the nod while the North American release will be 4 days earlier on June 23rd.

The game will be shipping simultaneously on both the Xbox360 and the PS3. Developer EA DICE boast 90% destructible environments in Bad Company's sandbox.

The game is console exclusive and will have a "deep campaign loaded with dark humor" as players follow a band of guys for "revenge and personal gain."

It's certainly a different direction for Battlefield which has only stuck to the sandbox style of warfare with no, or very little, story direction. This will be the first to have a proper campaign, one that will be approached cinematically if you would believe the features list.
