LEGO Harry Potter steals UK crown from Red Dead Redemption

It's finally happened - Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption has been unseated from the top of the UK all formats chart... by LEGO Harry Potter.

That plastic kid Potter has charmed enough parents and kids to oust cowboy adventuring, but for how long? Naughty Bear arrives 5th.

It's quite likely that next week will see Red Dead Redemption take back the top spot but for now it's the Hogwarts that LEGO built that sits upon the throne. Demon's Souls, that PS3 exclusive RPG that's mega hard as nails and twice as unforgiving, enters 6th.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 releases on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS and PC. Check out the full top of the UK all formats chart below.

Well I couldn't care less about Lego, but it's interesting to see MW2 edged out by BC2 (must have been when I played it the other day and pwned). Then again, the "Resurgence Pack" DLC for MW2 becomes available July 7th.

It was only a matter of time. (refering to BC2 topping MW2, and Red Dead losing the top spot). It's a shame it was some silly lego game that did it though.

I'm expecting Medal of Honor to top both BC2 and MW2 when it releases. Since it's basically a hybrid of them both from what i've seen.

MoH is on the top of my "must-by" list, Jake and if they succeed in releasing a complete game that MoH: Airborne promised to be, yet never was then MoH will top the heap for the first time since 2001.
