OFLC re-rating for PC GTA: Vice City not linked with anything new

In an odd move the Australian ratings board, the OFLC, reclassified Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City but this isn't a sign of things to come.

No don't go shouting from the rooftops the next GTA is Vice City bound as this is back catalogue related, says Rockstar Games. It's MA15+.

Arguably GTA: Vice City is the greatest release in the entire franchise largely part to the awesomeness that is Rockstar's take on the 1980's, and all that rad-iculous hair. The OFLC have the word "modified" in the newly rated version, reports Kotaku.

This is all part of Rockstar's ongoing work with their past products, which pours freezing water over any idea that it was XBLA and PSN bound. Is Vice City the best GTA?

Are you serious Simon? I thought, apart from GTA IV it was the weakest. San Andreas, modded-out easily stands head and shoulders above Vice City.
Or maybe it's just me and my intense dislke of Miami.
