Epic Games has confirmed to Shacknews that there will be no demo released before or after the launch of Gears of War 2 on the Xbox 360, currently set for release in November.

"There are no plans for a demo," said associate producer Tanya Jessen. "The reason being that it's been such a fast turnaround. A two year production cycle, for a game of this caliber, is really short."

Gears of War 2 is the eagerly anticipated sequel to the third-person tactical action game that became one of the most popular Xbox 360 games. This time, Marcus Fexis and Delta Squad are poised to deliver a bigger and more intense experience than ever before.
