Ubisoft have tried addressing concerns over on-disc DLC for their up-coming dog-fighting sequel, H.A.W.X. 2.
Speaking to Strategy Informer, Game Content Director Bogdan Bridinel mused that developers have to keep everything in mind when it comes to DLC.
"It is simple for someone to say that on-disc DLC is unfair," he said. "But, considering how much games cost these days, developers have to consider everything."
He also went on to say however that we could expect "genuine" DLC for H.A.W.X. 2, but that that was still further down the line.
"In regard to our DLC, I can tell you that part of it is still unknown even to me - I have marketing people asking for descriptions, but we actually haven't gotten that far yet."
Whilst not completely ruling out unlockable DLC, Lead Level Designer Mathieu Caramella, said that they were designing brand-new content.
"No it's not unlockable content. We are designing right now new missions, designing new stuff. I can completely understand that unlockable content may frustrate players - it's not our case."
