Square Enix is bringing the original PlayStation's Front Mission 3 to the PS3 and PSP via the PlayStation Network, which sports up to "150 hours".

It's a "strategy sci-fi adventure" with 2 independent stories to follow as you command huge battle machines called 'Wanzers' in turn-based combat.

"With the forthcoming release of Front Mission Evolved, the Front Mission series is back with a bang. Before the evolution of the series, we think it’s the perfect time to revisit a previous classic instalment with Front Mission 3," Square Enix's Larry Sparks.

"We’re very pleased to be able to bring this compelling title to the PlayStation Network.” It will be available through the EU PlayStation Store soon says the press release, with an announcement on the specifics to be made available.

Same thing with the whole original Tomb Raider. I don't want to have anything to do with this one :)

Front Mission 3 is in 3D as was 4 (which I've not played). Still have FM3 in my game collection :)

Is it any good? Its an RTS right? Maybe I could kill some time these days, I need a mini game for that kinda stuff.

I wouldn't mind spending a few bucks on this retro title for my ps3, I imagine I'd play it a lot!
@Wow - i believe it's turn based actually with some rpg stuff thrown in.

Knave is correct. I quite enjoyed it - Customizing and upgrading parts and learning skills for each character.
