Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is UK chart topper, Toy Story 3 nudged

IO Interactive's sequel Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days entered the UK all format chart as a pun-baiting 'top dog' for the week. Toy Story 3 moves to 2nd.

Meanwhile Ubi's Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands shot from 19th to 8th, and Mass Effect 2 climbed from 25th to 12th. Resurgence FTW!

Okay enough cheap abbreviated slang. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days has the psychopath duo in Shanghai as they deal with the locals who are out for their blood. 56% bought it for Xbox 360, 43% for PS3 and just 2% for PC - but that's going by retail figures.

IO's latest has been received with mixed blessing. We got our hands on it and decided it "provides what the original could not - fantastically gory action over a stunning backdrop of mob warfare and careless violence." We slapped it 8.5/10.

Here's the UK all formats chart for the week ending August 21st.

Hellweed, If you havent played Kane and Lynch 2, than you cant say that. In my opinion the game is one of the best this year. At least its unique. The player camera is insane - It feels like a movie :)
