BioWare's The Lair of the Shadowbroker DLC out September 7th

The latest upcoming DLC for Mass Effect 2 will release September 7th and stars former squad member Liara T'Soni and the Shadow Broker.

It'll cost 800 MSP or BioWare Points on Xbox 360 or PC respectively. We get an intel centre, some new research and 5 new achievements.

This is the most expensive DLC content yet for BioWare's super sci-fi series. Liara T'Soni is out to hunt down the Shadow Broker and enlists the aid of Shepard and the Normandy crew. This also gives the chance to continue a relationship with Liara.

"Liara T'Soni is tracking down the mysterious Shadow Broker, and no one is safe. She'll do anything to recover the man the Broker kidnapped... and the Shadow Broker's agents will do anything to stop her. Team up with Liara and chase clues from the luxurious heights of Illium to the Shadow Broker's own secret lair," goes the BioWare blurb.

She won't become a new permanent crew member, unfortunately. Have you been keeping up with Mass Effect 2's DLC catalogue?

No, only the free ones. DLC's for both Dragon Age and ME2 is only on my computer the free ones. DLC's is a great way (when free) to keep loyalty i.e fighting piracy - but to keep spanning out a game many has finished feels a bit - yeah whatever.

Yeah the amount of play time you can get from an extra play through of a bioware game is massive compared to their DLCs (so far). And it's never the exact same experience OFC.

I missed the most useful companion from ME1 in ME2: Liara T'soni.

most of the DLCs have been small, and this one looks bigger and more interesting than most.
