It's rumoured that Borderlands developer Gearbox Software has taken over the Duke Nukem Forever project from old timer 3D Realms.
Randy Pitchford said he could "better clarify" the situation at PAX, maybe. Well the studio is teasing a 'candid talk' at PAX with "surprising disclosures".
"Gearbox Software, developers of Borderlands, Brothers in Arms, Aliens: Colonial Marines and others, appear once again to candidly talk with PAX about everything they are involved with!" reads the blurb on Gearbox's PAX panel.
"Jump in for juicy exclusives, surprising disclosures, unbelievable scoops and behind the scenes access on what Gearbox is up to - straight from the source. Have a first hand look at live presentations and never before seen footage of upcoming Gearbox releases!"
"A question and answer session will give YOU the chance to address the rumors and tell the team what you want to see from Gearbox next!" Studio boss Randy Pitchford is on the panel along with executive VP Brian Martel and creative director Mikey Neumann.
The Gearbox Q&A will be held on September 5th at 3pm PST at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, Washington. Don't forget the developer has more Borderlands DLC in the works and Aliens: Colonial Marines still to come.
