Ubisoft delaying H.A.W.X. 2 for PC?

Due to be released September 30th was the PC version of Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 but now it appears as though it won't retail until November 16th.

Users who had preordered the flight combat game from Ubisoft's Shop have been sent emails informing them of the delayed fall release. What's Ubi say?

Posters on the Ubisoft forums have been discussing the emails that the Ubisoft store has been sending them, and some are naturally dismayed at the sudden delay. Right now the publisher is "looking into it." This seems to be a pattern with Ubisoft.

Recently it was announced that PC Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood would not be making its release this year alongside Xbox 360 and PS3. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 released on Xbox 360 and PS3 September 7th in the US.

Why do people still buy Ubisoft games? You get shafted.

A Ubisoft game delayed? Oh my...shocking news! The one consistent with Ubisoft (aside from delays and multiplatform shortfalls) is just how quickly their games drop in price after release. Many go to budget within 6 months (Red Hot), so I just don't see the point in buying them when they come out.
Besides, I have read early reviews and the game actually loses some of it's better features from the first one.

That is mostly right Hero. Assassin's creed was released for PC in Apirl 2008 and by now over two years later it is (around here) packed in a 6 by 5 1/2 by 1/4 inche container and priced at $ 9.99 dollars.

Used to love playing Simulator games. That was 10 years ago though. I forgot they exist lately. Game looks good. The non-cinematic parts of it.

@Herod: Good thing about waiting for 6 months to buy a game is also that you get a finished product that you should've got 6 months before when it was released.

^ You also find out how quickly many of the titles die as well (R.U.S.E. is already failing - MP is a wasteland).
As for Simulators (and HAWX is not one of them - it's a Flight Action game), "Rise of Flight" is having two new aircraft added to their store soon: the Sopwith Pup and Triplane. If you enjoy Simulators, and a game that keeps evolving and evolving, this one is for you.
