Creative director Joe Staten of Bungie has possibly teased that they're busy working on an MMO project of sorts when he talks of an "always there" world.

Rumours are already swirling that a shooter MMO is Bungie's next goal, which would certainly please subscription-lover Activision, their new partner.

While giving a keynote at the GDC Online in Texas, Joe Staten was asked about what the studio is working on now that Halo is finished with. "Wouldn't it be great if we could make a world that was always there for you? Wow. That would be great," was his reply.

Another MMO but from Bungie?
