Cliff Bleszinski has revealed they won't be including a 'theater' mode in Gears of War 3, and no more taking in-game shots of the action to share.

It was "really great for the super hardcore" but few others used it and time is a factor. These features are "probably not going to happen" unfortunately.

"Nah, we're not doing a theater mode," Bleszinski said. "I think it's one of those things that's really great for the super hardcore but unfortunately, with the timeframe, with all the features we have, it's one of those things that's going to slip through the cracks unfortunately."

"I don't think we have that right now. It's a funny thing; those are features that are very cool, and you look at the numbers, and a very small percentage of gamers use them. It's nice to have if you can get it in there; it's just that the reality right now is that it's probably not going to happen." Gears of War 3 releases in fall of next year with a beta early 2011.

The Xbox 360 exclusive shooter would be ready by April revealed Epic but they're going to enjoy the latest instalment getting push back with extra polish time. Do you use the Gears of War 'theater mode', videogamer? Gears of War 3 has dedicated servers.
