From a humble sci-fi TV series that exploded with popularity -- with Richard 'MacGyver' Dean Anderson leading SG-1 as Colonel O'Neill -- to the MMO gamer space.
Beta sign-ups for traipsing through the SG universe have begun so if you wanna stick it to the Goa’uld machine then suit up. The sign-ups are "already pushing 65,000" according to the official site so if you want to get a chance at step through the Stargate you'd better hurry up. Looks gorgeous and hopefully will avoid the empty universe that is "Star Wars Galaxies". And to think it all began with a moderately successful motion picture, but with a blistering music score by David Arnold. |

Awww maaan!! Stargate rules dude! Yeah I'll admit the Atlantis series are better. But still, they always left Star Trek in the dust in my opinion. Neither of 'em comes close to Star Wars though. :) |
