The downloadable episodes will be twelve in total and presented in a "TV-style" starting this summer, it's based in the Japanese village of Hanuda.

Sony are keen to believe this episode approach can keep the players on the edge of their seats and desperate for more of the Blood Curse mystery.

The story surrounds a US TV crew that visits Hanuda village to investigate and further research the "Vanished Village" legend, the tales are swamped with human sacrifices which supposed were held thirty years prior, "discover the horrific curse that haunts Hanuda".

The jist seems to be the player working to save the survivors from the living dead, yes its our old friend mister should be dead but isn't, and his wife probably. Sony proclaim this is "the most terrifying game in the Siren series to date."
