R.U.S.E. DLC Inbound... or is it?

I kid, it is.

Ubisoft has announced that they're releasing The Manhattan Project DLC Pack for their recent WW2 RTS R.U.S.E.

It includes three exclusive multiplayer maps - Twilight of the Gods (2 vs. 2), Vesuvio (2 vs. 2) and Guns and Tulips (3 vs. 3).

The new multiplayer modes are Nuclear War and Total War.

The pack will be releasing sometime in December and will be free to all. Huzzah.

P.S. Just checked with Ubisoft, the DLC is for all three platforms, in case anyone was wondering.

Hey Hero. How could this game be so interesting, it looks boring. Like Endwar.

No it's nothing like "Endwar", Evers (I've got that one too). The SP Campaign is a bit wishy-washy but the Skirmish (Battle) mode is great. As you renk-up the AI ranks-up with you. You really need to plan ahead in MP, and adapt quickly to what your opponent is doing or it's over before it even begins.

You and the AI ranking up the same time sounds alot like DOW II's campaign. Experince points are just about useless in DOWII. Except for the rare occasion that enemies are one or two levels lower than you.

Hadn't noticed that in "DoW II" and I've played it and the expansion several times through. The missions and AI just seem to get progressively harder, but at the same rate every play through. Could be wrong, probably am. But it is very noticeable in "RUSE". Play through a Battle on a small map at lvl 10 using infantry tactics and slaughter the AI. Play the same scenario again on lvl 21 with the same tactics and the AI matches your every move using Spy and Decryption ruses very effectively. Your once victorious 10 infantry units lie dead in 5 minutes. As I say you really need to work out what you're going to do on any given map way ahead of time so that when the skirmish starts you've already got a solid strategy, that must be flexible to counter the AI's moves and ruses.
Can be very frustrating, and the more expensive or adanced your units are, the more points your opponent gets for destroying them.
Do you go in cheap and fast and risk half the play time, or build up an overwhelming force rsking flank and air attacks?

The afect we are talking about seems to be mostly absent from the latest version of DowII. I got it updated also when I got my Rig fixed. The dude at the computer shop (Computer Pros) said the update took forever, mostly because most of the update was installing Chaos Rising (not that I have it).
